Well to cooooool you down just a bit the Magnolia-licious DT has another fun Challenge for you this month. This time our lovely hostess is none other than Ms. Diana Crick herself and she gave us a HARD challenge (well at the least the DT thought so LOL).

DT Sistah Angie Hunt came up with the fabulous idea late summer for the Magnolia-licious DT to create a 2011 Calendar for Diana Crick for Christmas. Happy July all you Magnolia fans and friends! Hope you're enjoying your summer and getting lots of time to sit in the sun, relax and get some fun crafting done! With all those new and wonderful Magnolia stamps how can you not have fun creating with them, right? LOL!

This month the Magnolia-licious DT is resuming the monthly sketch for you all! I'm (Suzanne, hee hee) the hostess this month and I've challenged the DT (and YOU) to create a fun "Free-Standing Pop-up Card". These are so easy to make and fun to do--it's easy to make them in different sizes and make the inserts pull out or stay attached as you'd like. The link to the tutorial is below, but have fun with this tutorial and make it your own by changing it up a bit! The DT has some fabulous samples for you to be inspired by below as well and they are all SUMMER THEMED!!

(remember you can change the size easily, my project measures 6" inches across)

How to Play:

-Create a "Free-Standing Pop-up" project using a Magnolia stamp(s) and make it Summer Themed!
-Link your project in the "InLinkz box at the very end of this post"--it will leave a small thumbnail of your project so everyone can see :)
-Link project by July 31st to this post only

February Magnolia-licious DT Sketch Project

Happy February Everyone! I don't know about you but I'm sick of winter and am so looking forward to spring! Sometimes I wish I was a bear and could hibernate all winter---that way I could eat all summer and fall and then sleep until spring, LOL! Well the DT has a bit of a Spring-y Challenge for you all this month to get you thinking ahead to warmer weather!

Diana Crick is the hostess with the mostess this month and she has challenged us all to create "Windshield Wiper Cards" with a Theme of SPRING!! You can find the Scor-Pal tutorial for this right HERE. I'll be adding the DT projects as they get finished so keep checking back for some lovely inspiration!

To Create a Card Front that is larger (5.5 inches) use these dimensions:

-cut 2 pieces of cardstock at 5.5x8.5 inches

-score both pieces (long side against top of scor-pal) at 1.5 and 3 inches

-then just follow the same directions that are on the tutorial to put together
